- On the Member Details page, scroll to the Care Plan Details section
- Press EDIT beside the Current Care Plan
3. Select the care plan you’d like to Upgrade/Downgrade to and click Next
4. The prorated amount to be charged (for an upgrade) or refunded (for a downgrade) will be confirmed before pressing SAVE
Membership plans are prorated down to (the minute of) the day, which prevents from over charging patients for a membership plan that they might already have used a portion of. For example, if the patient is switching from an Adult plan to a Perio plan half way through the year, they'll only be billed the Perio rate for the remainder of the year, versus paying the entire price of a 12 month Perio plan since they weren't originally on a Perio plan. The amount that will be billed (or refunded, when downgrading) to the member will be confirmed before checkout in this step
5. Once you press SAVE, the current care plan will now reflect the plan you’ve just chosen.
